Craig Samuel specializes his practice in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate finance as a Partner in the Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Group. He parlays this expertise assisting clients with complex middle-market mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and other corporate transactions. Craig represents private equity funds, business owners, family offices, lenders and serves as outside corporate counsel.

Representative Experience

  • Assisted clients on variety of mergers and acquisitions, including a $200 million sale of a biotech portfolio company, a $75 million sale and recapitalization of car wash chain and a $20 million sale of spirits distiller
  • Represent private equity funds in acquisitions, exits and reorganizations of portfolio companies, including acquisition of veterinary specialty hospitals and related real estate ranging from $7 to $40 million
  • Represent investors in $35 million debt purchase; represent clients in debt facility restructuring
  • Represent clients in cross-border investments in equity and commercial property
  • Represent equity partners in commercial real estate joint ventures
  • Represent start-ups in Series-A offerings
