Hartman Simons partner and CREW President Lori Kilberg was among the real estate industry leaders who gathered with politicians and economic experts in Washington D.C. last week for The Real Estate Roundtable’s Spring 2015 Meeting. Headquartered in the nation’s capital, The Real Estate Roundtable is a non-profit that represents the interest of the real estate sector.
The event featured remarks by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Harvard economics professor and former presidential advisor Martin Feldstein, National Intelligence Council Chairman Gregory Treverton and Mohamed Alabbar of Emaar Properties, who specializes in mega real-estate developments such as the Downtown Dubai project.
“I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Spring Meeting of the Real Estate Roundtable, and was impressed by the quality of the speakers and the discourse with members of Congress and industry leaders,” Kilberg said. “The Roundtable is making great strides in furthering legislation that is crucial to the commercial real estate industry.”
