Hartman Simons recently hired attorneys Lisa Byrd and Benjamin Gordon. Both Lisa and Ben are associates with the firm.
Lisa has extensive experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating retail leases for national tenants, and in crafting purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, opinion letters and other traditional closing documents. She also specializes in loan workouts and foreclosures.
Ben previously worked for the City of Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment as well as the law firms of Weissman Nowack Curry & Wilco P.C. and Farrell & Reisinger LLC.
“We are very excited about the additions of Lisa and Ben to our firm,” said Gil Y. Burstiner, managing partner of the firm. “Both of these lawyers bring tremendous smarts, valuable experience and a strong work ethic. With commercial real estate rebounding after several years of recession-induced inactivity, our firm is in the midst of a very busy and productive year, and Lisa and Ben will no doubt provide excellent legal assistance to our clients.”
Byrd is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. Gordon received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
