Hartman Simons was pleased to attend Monday's groundbreaking of Avalon, a $600 million, 86-acre mixed-use development just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta. The developer of the project is North American Properties, a Hartman Simons client.
Avalon is slated to open in two phases. The first phase, scheduled for completion in August 2014, will feature 370,000 square feet of retail space, 250 multifamily units, 101 single-family homes and more than 80,000 square feet of office space. The second phase will include another 100,000 square feet of retail, a full-service hotel and a boutique hotel.
