Hartman Simons is excited for the District 31 mixed-use commercial development project to begin to take shape with the recent unanimous approval by the Alabaster City Council of a Development Agreement with our clients Alumni Properties and The Parkes Companies. Keith Owens (keith owens) with Alumni originally started on this journey over 8 years ago and has worked through the ups and downs of commercial real estate and a Covid-related delay through sheer will and persistence. Now, with the Development Agreement with the City of Alabaster in place, this project, which will create space for nearly 75 new businesses in Alabaster, is on its way to breaking ground this fall. We’re excited to have been a part to help bring the Development Agreement to fruition.
