What was the most important business decision you made in the past year and why?
The most important business decision was to create a strategic plan for our firm. We held a firm retreat for all of our attorneys with a facilitator to examine our business and our future.
Where do you find inspiration? How do you transmit it to others?
I get inspired by others constantly. Through my clients, my colleagues, and my relationships with the women and men in CREW. I gravitate to positive and passionate people who love what they do. I believe that by helping and supporting others we weave a net that strengthens all of us.
How can women in business best support other women in business?
Simply, by giving business to other women. We do business with people we know, like, respect and trust. By establishing relationships with women in our industry—in my case law and commercial real estate—we build our network. Building relationships builds business.
