For more than 31 years, Jeremy Cohen has honed his expertise in all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisition, financing, leasing and development of shopping centers, mixed-use developments, multifamily housing, medical office buildings, self-storage and industrial properties. From the initial purchase through to the final sale of a project, Jeremy is well-versed in every stage of commercial real estate development. He also serves as a de facto general counsel to several small companies, providing general business and corporate advice.
Representative Experience
- Assisted RCP Companies in the purchase and redevelopment of Madison Square Mall into MidCity District (https://www.midcitydistrict.com) in Huntsville, AL
- Has represented Home Depot in the development of Home Depot stores from Maine to Texas over all 31 years of his career
- Represented Johnson Commercial Development in the development of The Pinnacle (https://thepinnacle.com) in Bristol, TN
- Represents both tenants and landlords in leasing transactions of office, industrial and retail spaces across the country
- Advises and represents clients in development of retail and mixed-use projects from the ground up, including purchases of land, closing acquisition and construction loans, leasing tenant spaces, and selling the finished project or closing on the permanent debt
- Counsels clients on financing of office, retail, multi-family and industrial projects, from both lender and borrower perspectives

Fun Stuff
Think twice before challenging Jeremy to a game of poker as he has played in the World Series of Poker several times, including, most recently, the 2021 Main Event in Las Vegas. Having grown up outside of Boston, Jeremy is also an avid fan of all of Boston’s teams and he has attended 5 Super Bowl, all victories by his beloved New England Patriots. He likes to say that the Patriots need him in the stands to assure themselves of a victory. On the weekends, when he isn’t working, Jeremy will squeeze in an occasional round of golf, take walks with his wife and their 2 dogs, and/or relaxing with a nice cigar on his porch while watching horse racing.
